Thanks to the unique and flexible possibilities of the SPORTident Timing System, a solution is offered to a wide range of sports. Timing software is developed by several companies or computer specialists for general sport activities or specific sports. A small overview of common used softwares.
SiTiming is a very complete event software for different sports as orienteering, MTB Enduro, MTB Downhill, Trail Running, adventure racing, combination of disciplines, and so on. The software can handle single and multiple stage events as well as relays and lap races. A flexible setup of the course, bonifications, penalties, import of entry lists, export of results, integration of live results, speaker information, are some of the interesting features of SiTiming.
A license for this software is included in the medium and large MTB Enduro and Trail Running sets.

Several softwares have been developed by Thierry Porret. EASYgec is an easy to use timing software for multiple disciplines. A nice feature is a big green (or red) smiley after reading out the SI-card, confirming the correct (or incorrect) execution of the race. EASYgec ia also suited for schools. The site is in French but the software is in Dutch, French, English and German. Other interesting software is available at the same webpage. By the way, it’s freeware.

HELGA is a software for Orienteering races. It’s been progressively developed to its current state since 1997. The interface is multilingual (English, German, French, Dutch, Portugese, Spanish). It supports classic event types, with special modules for multi day/stage races, Score races, Relay events. In use in Belgium, Brazil, The Netherlands and in France.
Helga offers not only a timing solution, it also manages starting and results lists. Powerful post race analyses are possible through a “splits browser”.
